For those looking for a deeper Arctic adventure, this exclusive experience offers more time on the trail and a closer connection with our dogs.

When you arrive at our camp, we'll welcome you and provide winter clothing and boots if needed. Once everyone is ready, we'll visit the dog yard where you'll meet our friendly Alaskan huskies and watch them run freely in their fenced play area before the adventure begins.

Your guide will introduce you to your own dog team and teach you the basics of mushing, including how to safely handle and drive the sled.

Unlike our standard self-drive tour, each participant has their own sled and their own team of Alaskan huskies, allowing you to fully experience the partnership between musher and dogs throughout the journey.

For this experience, we work with some of our most experienced racing dogs—athletes who have competed in Norway's toughest long-distance races, including the Finnmarksløpet. Their enthusiasm, endurance, and love for running make them exceptional companions on the trail.

We'll spend approximately two hours exploring scenic winter trails through forests, rolling hills, and across frozen lakes and rivers. The extended time on the trail allows you to settle into the rhythm of dog sledding, enjoy the peaceful Arctic surroundings, and build a stronger connection with your team.

Back at the camp, you'll have the opportunity to spend more time with the dogs as they run freely in their enclosure and relax after the journey.

We'll then gather around the campfire in our traditional grillhytte, where you can enjoy a homemade lefse and homemade Norwegian saft, while we share stories about our dogs, long-distance racing, and life with a husky team.
